Hey! Therapy is not easy, so thank you for taking the steps towards a change for the better. Whether with me or another, I hope you find your person.
My approach in therapy is anchored in empathy and understanding. I am here to walk with you. Your story matters, and most importantly, you matter! I have expertise in a wide range of areas, including stress, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD, I firmly believe that every individual requires a custom approach. This is why I invest time in understanding your unique experiences and needs, ensuring our sessions are tailored just for you.
But beyond techniques and methods, I offer a sanctuary—a space where you are seen, heard, and deeply understood. A place where judgment is replaced with unconditional positive regard and every step forward, no matter how small, is celebrated.
Types of Therapy
I have lived in Texas for my entire life and absolutely love it! While my husband was stationed in
California, I was in Austin for my undergrad and graduate programs. Then, after graduate
school, I moved to the outskirts of Houston for a couple of years. Soon after, I moved back north
of the Austin area in the Ft. Cavazos area. I am the oldest of 5 and come from a super small
town about 30 minutes away from Uvalde.
In our sessions together, you may meet some of my complimentary therapy fur babies who
ADORE watching Bluey. So please excuse me if I need to silence my mic and tell them to go
play somewhere else haha!
Most evenings you will find me in my pjs watching a horror movie or watching SVU on repeat. I
enjoy spending time with my husband and my furry babies when I have down time. When I am
not spending time with them, I am either out for a walk listening to my favorite podcasts or doing
yoga.

● Teens (13-18)
● Young Adults (19-25)

I personally do not take the “traditional” therapy model. For me, that means you won’t be lying
on a sofa while I incessantly ask, “and how does that make you feel?” while I write notes
(unless you really want to!) I like to approach therapy through a collaborative lens of you and I
working together to reach the goals you would like to accomplish. If something isn’t working,
please let me know so we can either adjust what we are doing or continue on our journey
together. I am here to help and support you in this chapter of your life, however that looks. I
believe that our therapeutic relationship is built on trust, honesty, in a place where you feel safe
in a judgment-free space. I strive to make sure that I can make this process as painless as
possible in a space where you can feel safe enough to be your authentic self, whatever/however
that looks for you. And if you don’t know that that is, I will also be here to help you along that
journey. I believe that our lives are woven into the different areas where we are present, so if
you are feeling like your life is “jumbled” that’s okay too! I am here to help you through that. I
believe there is a reason for everything, and I don’t know if I believe in coincidences. Therefore,
I am truly honored that you are reading this, and I hope we can chat soon! If not, I hope you are
able to find what it is that you are looking for, and receive the kind of care that you deserve.
